Between 2016-2019 volunteers and staff at the Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies researched the lives of hundreds of men and women connected to the county, who were involved in the Great War, as part of a project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Milton Keynes Council, Buckinghamshire County Council and the Buckinghamshire Military Museum Trust
